Swiss Piranha Snow and Sand Anchor
The innovative SwissPiranha SSA Snow and Sand Anchors are made from durable, high-flexible PiranhaXT and are ideal for creating a solid anchor point in soft ground like sand or snow.
The 20cm / 7.87” long SSA offers more holding power than similar-size aluminium anchors but with half the weight:
43g / 1.52oz – much less than any comparable anchors made of metal! The high-performance plastic material brings the advantage of non-heating by the sun under the snow like common aluminium flaps do and stays even at a low temperature (-50°C / -58°F) elastic. Its specific geometry and design make it amazingly easy to insert the anchor into the snow. When positioned, it has tremendous high pull-out strength. Production and recycling of PiranhaXT plastic requires up to 13 times less energy than common aluminium anchors. Engineered and produced in Switzerland.
