Beastmaker 2000 Series Beech Hangboard - Advanced
The World famous 2000 series is now available in FCS certified Beech!
This Beech hardwood, sourced from the EU is the absolute best quality combined with the lowest carbon footprint that Beastmaker can get hold of. The wood is sourced from continuous cover forestry, which is more environmentally friendly and does not deplete the forest canopy and ecosystem in the same way that clear cut forestry does. This combined with biomass kiln drying and a road based transport network means that this Beech is the lowest CO2 hardwood they can reliably get their hands on.
Beech is a slightly denser wood, with a darker colour and a beautiful subtle grain which should be slightly more durable over decades of use.
The Beastmaker 2000 is not a hangboard for beginners, it was designed for experienced climbers to make major strength gains in al the right areas. The result is a hangboard which tests the limits of finger strength and will help you towards your advanced climbing goals.
The Beastmaker 2000 comprises of many holds which will let you specifically target your weaknesses and get stronger, comfortably, across all the main grip types. Every hold on the board has been well thought out and radiused in order to keep the chances of tweaking to a minimum and the wooden texture won't ruin your skin whilst being grippy enough not to be frustrating.
Wood is far superior to resin in terms of its natural properties of grip, porosity and texture. Wood is far and away the best training material currently available for finger strength, and the good news is it grows on trees!
